There were charges filed that the election rules were not followed and the election committee did not ensure a fair election. After an extensive investigation by the Department of Labor it was found that there is no basis for action by the Department to set aside the protested election.
Again I would like to thank the election committee chaired by Carolyn Otts for a job well done and hope that in the future the local does not have to endure such an unwarrented ordeal.
