Article 15 Effective immediately
– Pay protections for employees under Article 15 will be the same as those with personal injuries

Step 3 of Grievance Process Effective immediately
– Additional step will include a HR representative and a VP, or their designee, not involved in a prior step. Need initial process set up then on-going admin
Doctor’s Certificate Effective immediately
– Absences of 2 days or less will not require medical certification, unless there is a triggering event and notice is requested prior to employee returning to work
Off Work Effective immediately
– Employees who have been off work for at least one year for an absence are subject to having their employment terminated. Need initial process set up then on-going admin
Retirees as Contractors Effective immediately
– BU employees who retire and return to work at Pepco will not be allowed to stay on as a contractor for more than one year if they are performing their old job duties
