Following the ceremony at noon, members, families, and friends will assist in laying Remembrance Wreaths on the graves of our nation’s fallen heroes. This is a wonderful opportunity to stand in gratitude and reflection alongside your fellow union members as we pay our respects.

Your presence and support reflect the compassion, strength, and unity of our IBEW Local 1900 family.

This cause holds special meaning for our union family. In recent years, we have lost five of our brothers, and their memory continues to inspire our efforts to raise awareness and foster open dialogue surrounding mental health. By walking together, we honor their lives and reaffirm our commitment to supporting one another and breaking the stigma that too often surrounds mental health challenges.

Thank you for your dedication and solidarity in advancing this important cause. Together, we continue to make a meaningful impact within our community and our union.

Interested IBEW Local 1900 members who qualify for consideration to fill the IBEW Local 1900 Treasurer position vacancy must notify Vice President, Ricky Dawson, in writing of such interest no later than the close of business on Monday, October 20, 2025. This can be accomplished via email, fax, or letter.

The Executive Board will select an IBEW Local 1900 member to fill this vacancy from interested and qualified candidates at its regular meeting on Thursday, October 23, 2025. The meeting will be held at 6:00 pm at the IBEW Local 1900 office located at 1400 Mercantile Lane, Suite 256, Largo, MD 20774.

Please refer to the IBEW Constitution, Article XVII, and IBEW Local 1900 Bylaws, Article 3.

Interested candidates should indicate whether they plan to attend the Thursday, October 23, 2025 Executive Board meeting for the purpose of being interviewed by the Executive Board.
