For the second year in a row, IBEW Local 1900 and Pepco are co-sponsors of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention “Out of the Darkness” walk on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C.
Sadly, IBEW Local 1900 has lost four union brothers in recent years to suicide. This tragic news has brought immense sadness to our union family. Join us to spread the message of hope and support those affected by suicide, while contributing to critical education, advocacy, and research efforts. It is important to break the stigma surrounding mental health and encourage those in need to seek help when they are struggling.
